Dynepic’s XR-optimized pipeline supports creators to efficiently get secure, IL4 compliant apps into the hands of government users 

(RENO, NV) – Dynepic®, Inc. has officially released its new eXtended Reality (XR) optimized application delivery pipeline, MOTAR® Fastlane, and in record time has deployed the first third party application under MOTAR’s Authorization to Operate (ATO) where it's now accessible for government use on MOTAR Live’s Hub via NIPRNet at https://motar.af.mil. 

MOTAR, also known as the ‘platforms of platforms,’  is the Department of Defense’s immersive learning ecosystem that empowers users to train and operate without boundaries - online, offline, anytime, anywhere and on any device. The addition of MOTAR Fastlane has now leveled-up the process for software applications to inherit MOTAR security controls, deploy to an IL4 environment, and deliver to approved devices (even XR headsets!) in weeks instead of years. The company plans to publicly highlight its first app deployed via MOTAR Fastlane from Janus Research later this month. 

“We have an ambitious vision at Dynepic; this is just the first milestone for MOTAR Fastlane. This expansion of the MOTAR platform comes just a year after Dynepic was awarded a significant contract - the AFWERX Strategic Funding Increase (STRATFI) and is part of a four-year effort to round out the core capabilities that will make MOTAR the platform of choice to host and deliver a diverse and sustainable  immersive technology ecosystem for the USAF and broader DoD.

(RENO, NV) – Dynepic, Inc.® announces it has been selected by AFWERX for a Phase II SBIR contract in the amount of $1.25M focused on adapting its MOTAR® Platform to address the most pressing challenges in the Department of the Air Force (DAF). 

The Air Force Research Laboratory and AFWERX have partnered to streamline the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) process by accelerating the small business experience through faster proposal to award timelines, changing the pool of potential applicants by expanding opportunities to small business and eliminating bureaucratic overhead by continually implementing process improvement changes in contract execution. The DAF began offering the Open Topic SBIR/STTR program in 2018 which expanded the range of innovations the DAF funded and this month Dynepic will start its journey to create and provide innovative capabilities that will strengthen the national defense of the United States of America.

“Today’s Warfighters and Just In Time Multi-Mission Airmen/Warfighters (JITMMA/W) are required to train and operate at ‘The Edge’; the MOTAR Platform with its mobile MOTAR-In-A-Box (MIAB) capability empowers them to do just that -  train without boundaries - online, offline, anytime, anywhere and on any device,” said Krissa Watry, Co-Founder, and CEO of Dynepic. “Specifically, this expanded capability will provide the US Air Force with the ability to stream training content from MIAB, including Augmented and Virtual Reality applications to ensure they can train and operate with skill wherever the mission takes them!”

Did you know there’s even MORE goodness coming with MOTAR’s Digital Thread capabilities this spring??

Since we announced this new feature, we’ve explored how it will support MOTAR users by maintaining the link (the digital thread) to original authoritative sources while also creating digital remixes, ensuring all training apps are leveraging the most current certified models. Ultimately, this capability ensures content on MOTAR is future-proof and reliable for years to come. 

To make things even more streamlined, users will also be able to organize each asset listing as a parent or child version and can even contribute assets across organizations where they have proper permissions. Additionally, users will be able to remix assets they have “Modify” permissions on. 

This new Digital Thread feature will allow users to easily track version control and choose the correct version.
