MOTAR Digital Thread 101 - Organizing Asset Listings

Did you know there’s even MORE goodness coming with MOTAR’s Digital Thread capabilities this spring??

Since we announced this new feature, we’ve explored how it will support MOTAR users by maintaining the link (the digital thread) to original authoritative sources while also creating digital remixes, ensuring all training apps are leveraging the most current certified models. Ultimately, this capability ensures content on MOTAR is future-proof and reliable for years to come. 

To make things even more streamlined, users will also be able to organize each asset listing as a parent or child version and can even contribute assets across organizations where they have proper permissions. Additionally, users will be able to remix assets they have “Modify” permissions on. 

This new Digital Thread feature will allow users to easily track version control and choose the correct version.
